As the lead dietitian for Health magazine’s “Must Eat List,” Caroline helped develop the criteria for health-promoting packaged foods. She specializes in writing about childhood and family nutrition, educating shoppers about food labels and ingredients, and helping families navigate the supermarket. She is a contributing editor for SuperKids Nutrition.
Caroline completed her Dietetic Internship at the University of Virginia Health System, where she focused on pediatric nutrition. During that time, she created an educational film called “Healthy Shopping on a Budget,” which is used in WIC and Head Start programs across Virginia.
She is an active member of the California Dietetic Association’s media team, and participates in the following Academy Dietetic Practice Groups: Nutrition Entrepreneurs; Behavioral Health Nutrition; Food and Culinary Professionals; School Nutrition Services; and Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutrition.
